DESCRIPTION:As the church works to decolonize and fully embody its commitment to collective liberation\, being in right relationship with Episcopalians of color is imperative. This webinar will share experiences of creating sacred space for people of color in relation to the dominant culture structures of The Episcopal Church. Hear about the grassroots organization\, truth-telling\, and collaborative self-determination of the Circles of Color in the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia\, as well as ways dioceses are supporting the intersectionality of racial justice and care of creation. Other stories and subversive strategies from multicultural and Indigenous experiences of The Episcopal Church will be shared.
